the fabulous life of a vineyard-worker

So after nearly 2 weeks of working in the vineyards, it’s time for some info 4 u guyz. Andrew, one of the permanent-staff-guys (really nice one) told us, that after he told of friend, what he’s doing right now, he replied “Ahh, you’re living a dream!”. Sounds good -but there’s a reality. A week ago I was writing about the nice view, the mild weather and all the biodynamic stuff. Now I want to tell you the other side: bloody sun, aching blisters and weak arms. Yeah, it’s kind of hard working outside. And working in the vineyard does not mean, that while you drinking a lovely-tasting bottle of vine, you are petting the grapes!!! But we all knew that before, right!!!After a week of thinning (cutting, leaves, grapes and shoots) we have been weeding for 3-4 dayz. Ohh my god, my little soft office-hands got so bloody blister… that has bee really hard stuff, mostly men-work. But I’ve got to tell all of u, that I’m really proud of Trish, because she’s doing really-really well!!! Seems like I’m the pussy, ahh NO!
OK, what else? We got two rainy dayz, with less work, but now it’s getting hotter and hotter.
And of course we're trying to eat some new food. A week ago I made my first SUSHI and it was so delicious!!!That's all about our vineyard job. Anyway I've got to go to bed, because we have to get up at 5:45 AM...
